I am selling my Bicycles
Update: They’re sold. Thanks, Jonathan and Scott. I’m glad Dorothy and The Purple Pony are in good hands.
I’m moving to Seattle, WA, and I don’t want to ship my bicycles up there, so I’ll just find one after I move.
Thus, I am selling my bicycles.
The first is a Trek 1400 road bike.
The other is a Schwinn World Sport Fixie / Single Speed.

This seems very interesting to me. It’s worth reading the whole thing.

Shoes for Bikes
Slowly but surely, my 4 1/2 year old shoes are becoming elderly. I love these discount colored (orange and brown) Onitsukas that I got while in high school. But like all good things on this earth, they will eventually come to an end, which means they will need worthy successors.
On an unrelated yet related note, I will be moving to Seattle after I get married in August, and will be carless....

Agreed. Not that I’m saying I’m smart, just that I am serious about email etiquette and redundancy.

Dinner Failure and a Recovery
Preface: I’ve been trying to eat more greens lately, so there’s quite a bit of leaves in my fridge right now. I had some salad at lunch, and didn’t want to same thing for dinner, so I decided to cook some of them.
The Failure: Pan-fried Romaine: I put half a heart of romaine in a pan with some olive oil, lightly fried it, and sprinkled some parmesan on it. While it was frying, I...

Garlic and Basil Butter
About 15 minutes ago, I had been working on school work for a couple hours and needed a break. Sometimes I’ll make a snack or some tea, or waste time on Hulu. But this time, I felt like making some herb butter, which I’ve had before, but have never made. So, here’s my attempt.
Ingredients:
1/2 a stick of butter
1-2 cloves of garlic
a pinch of kosher or sea salt
a couple...

Seattle
Last monday, I started driving up to Seattle, WA with Lacy and her parents to help her move in. She is about to start the Counseling Psychology program at Mars Hill Graduate School. We got there on Wednesday. I’m now sitting in Denver International Airport during a layover on my way to Kansas City.
Seattle is incredible. A great, environmentally conscious, diverse city with great public...
