It’s been so long since I’ve written, but so much has happened. Maybe that’s why I haven’t been writing…

I reconciled with an old friend three days ago. I hurt this person over three years ago, and completely forsook them after that. Then something happened to me a couple weeks ago: the same thing I did to said person was done to me. It hurt. It hurt a lot. Luckily, instead of staying completely bitter, this hurt prompted me to find the person I hurt and apologize. After a great deal of Facebook/phone tag, I finally was able to talk to her. She forgave me.

It wasn’t until then that I realized how much anger I was harboring for no good reason. I was reminded how much I needed to forgive. Thank you, Jesus, for the healing power of forgiveness.
