Wheaties and Weedies

I’ve been telling people about the rescue of Joseph Kony’s child soldiers, and I’ve been met with both support and criticism. This criticism was both constructive and well thought out, and it has made me think more deeply about my convictions. What will be done, ultimately, and will it actually do more harm than good? (Confused? Perhaps if you watch the film this will make a little more sense)

I’ve come the conclusion (not really on my own, but because I read Matthew 13:24-30) that we may not be able to simply defeat Kony, but we can rescue the children.

We may not be able to bring an end to the evil, but we can sure as hell bring heaven into the hells of those suffering by the hands of the evil.

Grandparents

with 3 comments

Tonight, I spent some time shooting a gig my dad’s band played for a fundraiser, but my favorite shots were not of anything I was really supposed to be doing.

These two lovely people are my grandprarents, Pa and Nana (Mr. and Mrs. Ed and Nancy Ellman, to you).

Charlie And Jeff

without comments

Today I asked two of my housemates, Charlie and Jeff, if they’d let me take some photos of them. Thus, we spent a quick half hour outside until our fingers froze.
